Senior Business Controller

For our client, a global company in the food industry, due to the development of internal structures, we are looking for candidates for the position of Senior Business Controller.
Responsibilites
- Higher education in economics (ACCA or CIMA qualifications would be an additional advantage).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar independent position in the field of commercial controlling (FMCG, pharmaceuticals).
- Knowledge of modern reporting standards based on IFRS and a strong understanding of commercial controlling and corporate finance concepts.
- Experience in coordinating the work of a small teamwould be an additional advantage.
- Excellent IT skills (ERP, BI) to support business operations.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Fluent English.
Requirements
- Preparation of annual budget, monthly forecasts, and managerial reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Conducting financial analysis, generating reports, and forecasting results to support business decisions and monitor profitability of product groups.
- Close and ongoing collaboration with commercial departments, verifying business assumptions, and building financial awareness by identifying business opportunities and risks.
- Responsibility for competitor analysis and market trends, monitoring profitability of product groups.
- Analyzing the effectiveness of promotional and investment activities, preparing benchmarks.
- Supporting the month-end closing process, reporting results, and explaining variances.
- Creating, maintaining, and enhancing key business indicators.
- Providing training to employees on commercial finance and financial systems.
