API Security Expert

We are seeking an expert to join the IT Security team for our client, an international startup operating in the customer goods industry.
Responsibilites
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of IT security.
- Demonstrated deep technical expertise in Web and API security standards, including OAuth, SAML, TLS/SSL, encryption, OWASP, Swagger, OpenAPI, etc.
- Knowledge of security infrastructure, such as Azure AD/ ADFS, WAF, WAM, API gateways, etc.
- Familiarity with PaaS/IaaS technologies, including VMs, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker, etc., and understanding of security aspects related to public clouds.
- Ability to effectively convey and document complex concepts in a user-friendly manner.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Hold a university degree in information technology or a related field.
- Fluent proficiency in the English language.
Requirements
- Work closely with other security and product teams to develop comprehensive API security blueprints and patterns.
- Ensure that API architecture aligns with the security governance and infrastructure teams' requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to identify and address security threats and obstacles throughout the development process.
- Facilitate discussions and provide guidance on implementing effective security measures within the API ecosystem.
- Continuously monitor and enhance API security practices to mitigate risks and safeguard sensitive data.
- Stay informed about industy best practices and emerging security trends to proactively address evolving security challenges.
